Nandini Austin

INDO-MAURITIAN ARTIST, AYURVEDIC WELLNESS GUIDE & FOUNDER OF THE TEMPLE GODDESS RETREAT

Nandini Austin is a British Indo-Mauritian artist, Ayurvedic wellness guide, and founder of the Temple Goddess retreat—a unique offering that merges classical Ayurvedic teachings with multicultural dance to support women in deepening their connection to the body and reviving their feminine vitality.

Her work is shaped by a richly diverse upbringing across London, Mauritius, and New York. From a young age, she trained in Kathak and Mauritian Sega dance, performing alongside her father, a Hindu priest. This early immersion in cultural arts and spiritual traditions introduced her to Ayurveda and Vedanta philosophy as part of daily life.

Before entering the professional world of holistic health, Nandini built a career in international luxury hospitality. She later turned toward wellness, studying Ayurvedic practices and exploring the benefits of Transcendental Meditation through the David Lynch Foundation. Today, she facilitates retreats and teaches globally, offering practices that revitalize “ojas,” the core energy of health and radiance.

Nandini’s mission is to help women reclaim the sacredness of their bodies through intentional movement, healing rituals, and ancient wisdom. Her programs inspire deep joy, self-awareness, and a return to embodied living. At the age of 43, Nandini conceived naturally, crediting her Ayurvedic lifestyle and commitment to movement and dance for her ability to conceive and enjoy a healthy pregnancy.
